Envionrment light improvement
Hey Wenzel, this feature request would extend the DomeLight/Environment light functionality towards 3D standards.
There's a couple features here:
- Add a 'backplate' parameter: This is an image that takes up the view frustum and always sits at the z maximum from the camera.
- Add a camera projection shader: This shader projects the backplate onto any geometry with this shader.
Typical usage is, you add the Environment light, add the backplate, then place a plane in the scene with the camera projection shader. This plane now acts as a shadow catcher for any objects you add to the scene.
